Instructions:
Step 1. Use smallest metal mandrel & 22
gauge wire to make jump rings. Wind approximately 2” of coil
and snip down center.
Step 2. For each round crystal,
cut piece of 22 gauge wire 1” long. Turn a loop at one end,
insert crystal and turn a loop at the other end. (4 times for earrings
and 8 times for necklace)
Step 3. To connect each faceted
drop, cut piece of 26 gauge wire 4” in length. Thread through
hole in drop with even tails and twist 2 times at top (fig A). Twist
both wire tails around the small metal mandrel in opposite directions
and re-twist around the original two twists (fig B). Cut off excess
wire and flatten with chain nose pliers. (2 times for earrings and
1 time for necklace)
Step 4. For swirls, cut 2” pieces of 20 gauge Natural wire.
For each swirl, thread two pieces of 1” chain into center and
form opposing swirls. Move the chain to the outside of the swirls
and continue process until desired length is achieved.
Step 5. Necklace assembly:
Attach three jump rings together 4 times and attach each of these
groupings between two round crystals. Cut two ½” lengths
of silver chain and attach these between two sets of the pink chained
crystals. Cut an additional ¾” length of chain and attach
this in the center to join the two groupings. Attach one jump ring
to the faceted drop and attach this to the center of the ¾” silver
chain. Cut two 5” lengths of silver chain and attach these to
the last two round crystals. Secure the back of the necklace with
a lobster claw and a silver jump ring.
