Instructions:
1.  Creating “S” Components: Using 18 ga wire, keeping wire on spool, cut 1.25” individual pieces of wire. For a 16” length necklace, you will need 26 pieces.
2Take one 1.25” piece of wire. Using round nose pliers, make a closed loop on the end of the wire. Do the same on the other end. You will have an “S”. This is the start of your necklace.
3. Linking “S” Components to Create Your Necklace:
For the next 1.25” piece of wire, make a semi-closed loop on the end of the wire. Slip the already completed “S” into the loop. Close the loop with the round nose pliers. Make a closed loop on the other end. You will now have two interlinked “S” components.
4.  Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have a completed strand of interlocking “S” components
5.   Fastening the Clasp: For the last loop on the last “S” component, slip the jump ring attached to the claw clasp into the last loop. Use round nose pliers to fully close the loop. Gently pull on the clasp to make sure it is secured. The last “S” component on the other end of the necklace will serve as the closure for the claw clasp.
6.Creating Dangling Components: Using 24 ga wire, keeping wire on spool, cut 1.5” individual pieces of wire. For a 16” length necklace, you will need 26 pieces.
7. Take one 1.5” piece of wire. Using round nose pliers, make a tightly closed loop on the end of the wire.
8. Slip one fresh water pearl onto 1.5” wire. Gently move the pearl to the closed loop on the end of the wire.
9.  Repeat steps 7 and 8 until you have a pearl on each 1.5” piece of wire
10.
Attach Dangling Pearls: Intersperse a pearl onto every other closed loop on the “S” by slipping the straight end of the wire through the closed “S” loop.
11. Using round nose pliers, close the straight end of the wire around the “S” loop and wrap around the top of the fresh water pearl. Leave some room, allowing the pearl to dangle from the “S” loop. Gently wrap the wire 2 – 3 times around. Use wire cutters to clip any excess wire. The fresh water pearl should dangle from the “S” loop.
12.
Repeat steps 10 and 11 until all dangling pearl components have been affixed to the “S” loops of the necklace.
