Fresh water Pearl Necklace and Earrings 1108

Step 1.
Cut two yards of white wire from spool and twist together tightly using hand drill.
Step 2. Follow the pattern and form two ghosts from twisted wire, with two twists at base to hold the ghost together. Cut excess wire leaving 1 ½” tail. Untwist this wire and straighten with nylon jaw pliers. Use round nose pliers to form different size/length swirls as shown in photo.
Step 3. Sand one side of shrink plastic with fine sandpaper in both directions and clean off plastic dust.
Step 4. Use same ghost pattern to trace three ghosts onto opaque shrink plastic with white permanent pen. Plastic will shrink differently depending on the direction the pattern is cut, so experiment with this for different shapes.
Step 5. Cut out shapes with detail scissors and punch holes for the eyes.
Step 6. For each shrink ghost, dab on a very small amount of pigment ink and spread evenly with finger. You should have a very thin layer of ink. Sprinkle with clear embossing powder and place on non-stick craft sheet that will fit on baking sheet in toaster oven.
Step 7. Bake in toaster oven according to shrink plastic instructions.
Step 8. Cut the following papers; Black Cardstock: 4 ½ x 5 ¾”, Ghost Background: 4 ¾ x 5 ¼”, B&W Polka Dot: 5 x 7”, White Glossy Cardstock: 10 ½ x 7 1/8”. Fold in half to make a 5 1/8 x 7 1/8” card.
Step 9. Adhere polka dot paper to white card, then ghost paper to polka dot layer with double-sided adhesive.
Step 10. Stamp “Happy Halloween” with white ink and emboss with white embossing powder.
Step 11. Determine placement of wire ghosts and adhere with wire staples (see next step).
Step 12. To attach the ghosts to the cardstock, make tiny holes with needle tool or pin (place on foam cushion to do this) in several locations on each ghost and swirl. Make ¾” horseshoe shapes with 26 gauge matching wire. Insert these horseshoe shapes through the tiny holes and secure by flattening on the back of the cardstock.
Step 13. Apply 3-D foam tape to back of wired piece, covering all edges and several places through the center. Adhere this to the rest of the layers.
Step 14. Adhere shrink ghosts to card where desired with Fabri-Tac™ and allow to dry.
