Instructions:
1. Cut Light Grey cardstock to 11 1/2” square and adhere to 12x12
Turquoise cardstock.
2. Jump Rings: using large metal mandrel on the Wire Worker, make a coil approximately
2”. Cut coil down the center to make jump rings. (These jump rings will
be used to encase the size 20ss rhinestones).
3. Wire Trees: set up Jewelry Jig with tree pattern and make 5 trees with
22 gauge Ice Blue wire. Remove from jig, twist wire at base of tree for 3/8”.
Cut remaining tails to ¾” and form a swirl on each side with
round nose pliers.
4. Punch five 2” circles from Silver cardstock. Roll edges in Silver
Ink then Silver Embossing power and emboss on front and back.
5. Wire Trees Circles: to attach the trees to the circles, make tiny holes
with needle tool or pin (place on foam cushion to do this) around top point
and base of each tree. Make ½” horseshoe shapes with 26 gauge
wire. Insert these horseshoe shapes through the tiny holes and secure by flattening
on the back of the cardstock circle. Use this same procedure for all five
circles.
6. Decorative Strip: cut 1 ½” x 11 ½” strip of light
gray and stamp seven solid circles with Robin’s Egg ink. Make sure the
circles are completely dry, then stamp centers in silver with dot design and
emboss with silver. Adhere to Turquoise strip 1 ¾” x 11 ½”,
embossed with silver on edges. Glue size 9ss rhinestones to center of stamped
design.
7. Date Circles: punch six ¾” circles from extra turquoise cardstock.
Stamp numbers in Peacock ink and emboss with clear powder. Roll edges in silver
ink and emboss with silver powder. Apply foam dots to the back of each circle.
Apply 1-2 coats of Glossy Accents to each circle and allow to dry completely.
8. Wire Arrow: set up Jewelry Jig with arrow design. Cut piece of 22 gauge
Ice Blue wire 20” long and fold in half. Follow pattern on jig, starting
at the center of the point. Twist the two wires together for 1 3/4”.
Spread wires apart and wrap each around two times on the medium peg and cut
off excess. (This will be the pivoting point for the crystal brad, so be sure
your brad fits through the wire circle.)
9. On bottom half of page, draw a ½ circle with disappearing pen. Adhere
wire tree circles and date circles.
10. Stamp straight dots (from fresh décor set) pointing to each tree
with Robin’s Egg ink.
11. Punch 1/8” hole at base of stamped dots. Insert brad through wire
pointer and hole; spread open on back.
12. Stamp “Countdown to Christmas” with Robin’s Egg ink,
following the ½ circle design.
13. Attach crystals: apply a large dot of Gem-Tac and place crystal in the
center. Allow some glue to ooze out from under the crystal, then immediately
place jump rings in the puddle of glue to hold in place.
