Instructions:
Step 1. Open plastic
box so it is flat. (I turned mine inside out so that the smooth
side would now be inked and on the inside.)
Step 2. Apply alcohol ink
to smooth side of plastic. Use blending solution first on the felt
before adding Denim, Stonewashed and Stream inks. Follow directions
and use a swirling motion to apply the ink (try to avoid inking the
tabs).
Step 3. Cut
a strip of white glossy cardstock 2” wide and another ¾” wide.
Length will be determined by size of your container and you will need
enough ¾” to wrap around entire container (you may need
to cut separate pieces).
Step 4. Apply
alcohol ink to white glossy cardstock. This time do not use any blending
liquid and only use Stonewashed and Stream Inks.
Step 5. Cut
a strip of black cardstock 1¾” wide and another ½ “wide.
Length will be determined by size of your container and you will need
enough ½” to wrap around entire container (you may need
to cut separate pieces)
Step 6. Glue
wire swirls to the ½” black cardstock strip (for front
only) using Glossy Accents. Set aside to dry.
Step 7. Adhere
wire Cruise Ship to 1¾” black cardstock using the wire
pieces included in the package. Do so by making tiny holes through
cardstock with needle tool or pin (place on foam cushion to do this)
in several places. Make horseshoe shapes with the matching wire. Insert
these horseshoe shapes through the tiny holes around shape and secure
by flattening open on the back of the cardstock (like a brad).
Step 8. Apply
all black cardstock strips to inked glossy 2” cardstock with
SuperTape.
Step 9. Fill
in holes on the wire Cruise Ship with Glossy Accents and allow to
dry.
Step 10. Apply
glitter “Cruise” letters to the black wired cardstock
piece.
Step 11. Attach
3 eyelets below “Cruise” and insert 3 pieces of silver
ribbon 2½” each in length, folded in ½.
Step 12. Apply
very small pieces of adhesive under the silver ribbon on the front
to keep it in place.
Step 13. Apply
SuperTape to the back of all of the pieces and adhere to the plastic
box.
Step 14. Outline
top flap of box with Silver Leafing Pen. |
