Fold over the ends of the Artistic Wire Mesh and add one C-Crimp Cord End to each end of the wire mesh.
Attach ½ of the clasp to one of the 3” pieces of Polyester Chain using 2 black 18g 15/64” jump rings.
Repeat step 2 using the 2nd piece of Polyester Chain and the other 2 black 18g 15/64” jump rings.
Attach the other ends of the Polyester Chain to the 2 Round Hematite Wrappers using (2 each) 4 black 18g 15/64” jump rings.
To an open 18g 5/32” black jump ring add 2 pre-closed 18g 5/32” black jump rings, 1 of the Round Hematite Wrappers, & one end of the wire mesh. Close the jump ring. If you like you can add the wire mesh after you have completed the byzantine & möbius section.
Make 1 segment of Byzantine as found in my booklet “Basic & Advanced of Chain Maille” using black 18g 5/32” jump rings. One segment of byzantine is “2 rings, 2 rings, flip, 2 rings, 2 rings, 2 rings, flip”.
Add a large möbius to the chain by taking an open brass 18g 15/64” jump ring and scooping up the byzantine segment added in step 6. Close the brass jump ring.
To complete the möbius take a second open brass 18g 15/64” jump ring and scoop up the same byzantine segment before closing the jump ring go through the large brass 18g 15/64” jump ring. Close the brass jump ring.
Add another segment of byzantine, add a möbius, add a segment of byzantine, add a möbius, continue this pattern for a total of 16 byzantine segments and 14 möbius. End with a byzantine segment. Add 2 black 18g 5/32” jump rings to the last byzantine segment.
Twist the wire mesh around the byzantine & möbius section. With a black 18g 15/64” jump ring connect the wire mesh, the byzantine segment, & the second Round Hematite Wrapper. Pull gently on the sides of the wire mesh to “fluff” it up.
Optional: Using the gold wire mesh tie a bow around one of the jump rings that connect the chains together.
