Make 12, 1 inch long coils using the AW Deluxe Coiling Gizmo.
Cut 24 pieces of wire 24 inches long.
Thread 2 pieces of wire through 2 coils.
Repeat above step until all wire and coils are threaded.
Center both coils in the middle of each piece of wire.
Building the Pattern: Lay one set of wire with coils in a horizontal direction leaving 1 inch of separation between 2 coils.
Place second set of wire with coils over one set in a vertical direction leaving 1 inch in between coils.
Working in a clock wise direction continue to add wire with coils at the 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11 positions until you have formed a full circle.
Keeping wire pieces in circle, starting at the 12 O’clock position and working to the right, gather one piece of wire from the 12 and 1 positions and string small bead through both wires.
Continue to build the first row with 12 total small beads.
Continue building rows until complete.
Coil excess wire ends using rod from coiling gizmo tool, add a decorative bead at end of coiled piece of wire.
Paint unfinished wood knob and let dry.
Glue decorative beads to top and sides of wood knob and let dry.
Adhere knob to top of candle holder lid with E6000 adhesive.
Cut one piece of wire 24 inches long and wrap loosely around base of knob. Add a decorative bead to each end of wire for finished look and to help secure around knob.
